Our oriental cuisine has a very wide range of recipes and ingredients and today I introduce you to one of my all favourite ingredients "Freek". Freek is simply wheat in its green stage, it goes under a very extensive process of smoking which allow the flavors in it to develop tremendously and then you get this amazing smoky flavor transferred to whatever you cook with it. Freek is not only mouth-watering delicious, but it's also amazingly good for you because it is a whole wheat providing you with the fibbers your body needs.
